Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Receives Receives The Study of Yemeni Migration-Reciprocal Impacts and Stresses the Importance of the Encyclopedia Yemeni migrants have diverse stories ranging from the challenges of migration, the successes they have achieved, and the positive impact they have made in their host communities in various fields, including education. On November 25, 2023, Dr. Ali Sharafuddin, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received a hard copy and a digital copy of the study on the reciprocal effects of Yemeni migration.

The copy was delivered by members of the publicity committee, Dr. Amro bin Ma'ad Yakrub al-Hamdani, member of the Shura Council, and Mr. Al-Azi Al-Slawi, advisor to the Ministry of Expatriates' Affairs. In his speech at the handover ceremony, Dr. Ali Sharafuddin highlighted the importance of activating the role of the encyclopedia and organizing scientific events to review its outputs and include those outputs in the government's priorities. He also stressed the importance of starting the second phase of the project, which is related to "brain drain and capital flight" and its significant impact on economic and social development in Yemen. He welcomed the invitation of the publicity committee to be a member of the scientific committee for the second phase of the encyclopedia project.

This step reflects the strengthening of higher education and scientific research in Yemen. This encyclopedia also enables the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to benefit from the results of the study and employ them in national development plans.
