Part 7- Prominent Figures of Yemeni Immigrants

This part of the study starts with the story of the project's sponsor, Mr. Alwan Saeed Al-Shaibani, and his experience with migration and this project, where he wrote his story as one of the migrants driven by living conditions (poverty and deprivation) to leave his village and migrate, starting from migrating to Ethiopia and subsequently several other countries, including Spain - where he met his life partner and wife, Mrs. Carmen Palomero Serrano. His story serves as an introduction to this section focusing on prominent figures of Yemeni migration in modern times.

He also states one of his memories at Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia and the bad treatment he faced there though he was invited by a prominent Saudi businessman. And how their way changed one hundred percent to the best once they saw his Spanish passport, which was given to him by the King of Spain as an honor. This incident was the straw that broke the camel's back which led him to think deeply about the suffering of Yemenis abroad and motivated him to conduct a study documenting the roles of all Yemeni migrants who have long faced denial, especially by neighboring countries.

This part also states the story of many prominent Yemeni figures who made positive impacts and achievements in diverse fields, whether in host countries or Yemen, such as Mr. Hayel Saeed An'am, Dr. Khalid Nishwan, Amna Al-Habashi, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al-Hakimi, Ali Ahmed Bakthir, Abu Bakr Salem Belfaqih, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Saqaf, Asmahan Al-Jarou, Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Matari and Saeed Ali Al Asbahi among others.
