Part 4- Destinations of Yemeni Migration

This part presents modern and contemporary Yemeni migration to East Africa and its civilizational features and dimensions by the researcher, Alazzi Mohammed Hamoud Al-Sulwi, where he states his research within six disciplines, starting with the historical introduction to these migrations, which covers ancient Yemeni migrations to East Africa before and after Islam. The second discipline covers the modern and contemporary Yemeni migration to Sudan. The third one is Yemeni migrants in Ethiopia and their situation. The fourth highlights the role of Yemeni migrants in Eritrea. The fifth addresses Yemeni migration to Djibouti, while the sixth covers migrations to East African coastal countries. The research concluded by reviewing the most important outcomes and recommendations.

This part also addresses the causes and impacts of Tihama migration by researcher Jamal Abdulrahman Al-Hadhrami, portraying the experiences of Yemeni migrants in Saudi Arabia, while the researcher, Akram Mohammed Ali Al-Masnafi addresses the Yemeni migration to the United Kingdom, and the researcher, Amin Mohammed Saeed Nouaiser discusses economic migration and the reciprocal impact of Yemeni migrants in the United States. In his turn, the researcher, Yahya Mohammed Ahmed Galib discusses Yemeni migration to the United States in the latter half of the 20th century.
