This part of the study traces the history of Human migration from ancient times, whether mythological, hypothetical, or factual. It also examines the reality of Yemeni migrants in their homeland.

This is followed by an introduction from the study team, speaking about the sponsor, Mr. Alwan Saeed Al-Shaibani, who in turn dedicated Al Khair Foundation for Social Development, which he chairs, to provide the necessary support to conduct this project as a comprehensive scientific study.
This study covers regions of migration in Southeast Asia, East Africa, Europe, America, Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf Countries. The goals of the study and its preparation stages are also stated in this part. In this part the researcher, Ahmed Saleh Al-Jabali elaborates on the reality of Yemeni migrants in Yemen: between the positivity of development roles and the negativity of political and economic treatment, while the researcher, Mohammed Abdulrahman Hashim Sajo discusses migration motivations, reciprocal impacts, and its contribution to achieving sustainable development in the homeland and diaspora with emphasis on Hadhrami migration.
