Study of the reciprocal effects of Yemeni migration: Submission of the study to Professor Eng. Mohammed Hussein Jaghman

In an important step toward understanding the challenges and opportunities facing Yemeni society due to migration, a copy of a comprehensive study on the reciprocal impacts of Yemeni migration was delivered to Professor Eng. Mohammed Hussein Jaghman, former Minister of Municipalities and Housing and a seasoned politician. This study aims to shed light on the social and economic changes resulting from migration. Delivery Committee The study was delivered by Dr. Amr Madikarib Al-Hamdani, a member of the Publicity Committee and a member of the Shura Council, and Professor Al-Azzi Al-Salwi, Advisor to the Ministry of Expatriate Affairs. This event took place at the Cultural Forum, a platform that brings together intellectuals and politicians to discuss important issues. Importance of the Study The study addresses various aspects of Yemeni migration, from its economic and social impacts to the challenges faced by migrants. It highlights how remittances from expatriates play a vital role in supporting the local economy and helping to alleviate the daily burdens of families in Yemen. The study also highlights how migration impacts cultural identity and can lead to changes in customs and traditions. On the other hand, it also addresses the pressures families may face as a result of individuals being dispersed between countries. Professor Engineer Mohammed Hussein Jaghman, who has extensive experience in political and social fields, expressed great interest in the study's content. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of raising awareness about the reciprocal impacts of migration and understanding how to exploit available opportunities to improve conditions in Yemen. Jaghman also called for improving migration policies to ensure the protection of migrants' rights and enhance their contributions to sustainable development in the country.
