As part of efforts to understand the impacts of Yemeni migration, two copies of the study on the mutual effects of Yemeni migration were recently delivered to Professor Abdulrahman Murad, Chairman of the General Authority for Books. The two copies were delivered by Professor Salwa Mohammed Moharam, Director of Al-Khair Training Center and Representative of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development. This study sheds light on the economic, social and cultural impacts of migration on Yemen and host communities, making it an important reference for researchers and decision-makers.
In his speech, Professor Abdulrahman Murad stressed the importance of this study in documenting the experiences of Yemeni migrants, pointing to the role it can play in enhancing the general understanding of migration issues. Professor Salwa Mohammed Moharam expressed her pride in completing this study, which took a great deal of time and effort, stressing the need to disseminate this knowledge and benefit from it in supporting migrants.
She pointed out the importance of cooperation between cultural and social institutions in addressing migration issues and achieving sustainable development. This step is part of the efforts of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development to provide information that contributes to improving the conditions of migrants. This initiative also reflects everyone’s commitment to understanding the impacts of migration and how to deal with it positively.
