In an effort to strengthen partnerships between research institutions and charitable organizations, and to promote the role of knowledge in serving society, a study entitled “The Reciprocal Effects of Yemeni Migration” was presented to the Hayel Saeed Anam Charitable Society at its headquarters in Sana'a.

This initiative aims to make the study's findings available to interested parties and researchers, and to support their application in community programs related to expatriates and their families. A printed copy of the study was delivered to the Hayel Saeed Anam Charitable Society, where it was received on behalf of the Society by Mr. Sami Abdulmajid Al-Ariqi, the Society's Chairman in Sana'a.

This presentation reflects the Society's commitment to supporting initiatives that serve the community and provide scholarly material that helps in understanding the dimensions of Yemeni migration and its reciprocal effects between the homeland and the diaspora. Among those present at the presentation were Mr. Al-Azzi Al-Salawi, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, and Dr. Amr Ma'dikarib Al-Hamdani, a member of the Shura Council. The study was presented as the product of research highlighting the human, social, and economic interactions arising from migration, and its impact on families within Yemen, as well as its effect on opportunities for development, communication, and the enduring ties between Yemen and its diaspora.

The association's leadership in Sana'a expressed its appreciation for this initiative, noting that providing such studies is a valuable addition to the association's efforts to develop a deeper understanding of societal issues, particularly those related to humanitarian and social situations affected by migration and the diverse needs, motivations, and perspectives it generates. It is also expected that the study, through its accessibility to a leading charitable and humanitarian organization, will contribute to supporting specialized discussions and enriching the body of knowledge on Yemeni migration.

This will help translate scientific findings into more practical initiatives that meet the needs of the community and enhance the ability of relevant stakeholders to develop plans and programs that serve expatriates and their families, positively impacting development.
