Study on the Reciprocal Impacts of Yemeni Migration Handed Over to Queen Arwa University Today, Wednesday, the comprehensive study entitled “The Reciprocal Impacts of Yemeni Migration” was officially presented to Dr. Ghassan Ali Hashim, Vice President of Queen Arwa University, in a scholarly event held at the university campus in the capital, Sana’a. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to highlight the contributions of Yemeni migrants both at home and abroad and to analyze the multifaceted impact of this historic phenomenon across generations.
The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Al-Azi Al-Salwi, member of the Inauguration Committee and advisor to the Ministry of Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Amr Maadikarb Al-Hamdani, member of the Inauguration Committee and a member of the Shura Council, as well as Mr. Faisal Al-Ariqi, President of the Forum for Modernity and Cultural Enlightenment. The nine-part study offers a comprehensive perspective on the topic and is complemented by a digital platform that allows researchers and interested parties to explore its findings interactively.
For his part, Mr. Al-Azi Al-Salwi stated that the study has great archival value and can serve as a vital reference for decision-makers and those working in the field of migration. It is worth noting that the study was conducted under the supervision of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development, with the vision and guidance of Mr. Alwan Saeed Mohammed Al-Shaibani, Chairman of Al-Alamia Group.
Mr. Al-Shaibani has long championed the “Migrant Platform” project as a comprehensive digital initiative to document and highlight the experiences and contributions of Yemeni migrants. Only one printed copy of the study was handed over during today’s ceremony, underscoring the high value and importance of this scholarly work in restoring due recognition to Yemeni migration and its positive role in shaping communities and preserving the Yemeni identity.
