Sheikh Abdul Hamid Al-Hadi receives a copy of the study on the mutual effects of Yemeni migration.

Sheikh Abdul Hamid Al-Hadi, President of the Arab-Islamic Dialogue Forum and member of the Shura Council, received a copy of an in-depth study on "The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration." The study was presented at a private meeting attended by Dr. Amr Madikarib Al-Hamdani, a member of the Publicity Committee and a member of the Shura Council, and Professor Al-Azzi Al-Salwi, Advisor to the Ministry of Expatriate Affairs and a member of the Publicity Committee. Yemeni Migration Migration has always been a fundamental feature of Yemeni history. It was not merely a search for a livelihood, but rather a journey to preserve identity, spread knowledge, and engage in trade. Therefore, Yemen's present cannot be understood in isolation from this phenomenon, which has shaped its social, economic, and cultural fabric. Yemeni migration is also a migration of minds, trade, and cultural heritage. The "Mutual Effects" Study The study received by Sheikh Al-Hadi is distinguished by its comprehensive methodology. It does not limit itself to analyzing the negative effects of migration, such as brain drain or its impact on demographics, but rather focuses on the "mutual effects." This concept highlights how migration impacts not only the home country, but also host communities. Economic Impacts of Migration An analysis of the role of expatriate remittances in supporting the national economy and the impact of Yemeni capital on host countries. Social and Cultural Impacts of Migration How expatriates have preserved their cultural and religious identities, and how they have influenced host communities by spreading the values of tolerance and Islamic ethics. In turn, they have acquired new skills and diverse knowledge. The Importance of the Role Played by the Arab-Islamic Dialogue Forum The Arab-Islamic Dialogue Forum, chaired by Sheikh Al-Hadi, is an important intellectual platform for discussing the crucial issues facing the nation. The forum's receipt of this study comes within the context of its interest in activating the role of expatriates in comprehensive development. Sheikh Al-Hadi emphasized the importance of this study and the need to utilize it in formulating policies and programs aimed at strengthening the relationship between the home country and expatriates and effectively integrating them into the development process. He pointed out that migration can be an opportunity, not a challenge, if properly utilized. Future Prospects With the increasing number of Yemeni expatriates, there is a need for in-depth studies like this one, which will provide a clear roadmap for dealing with this phenomenon. This study is expected to serve as a starting point for several events and workshops organized by the Arab-Islamic Dialogue Forum to deepen the discussion on these topics, with the participation of experts, officials, and representatives of Yemeni communities.
