In an effort to strengthen research collaboration between local institutions and academic centers, the University of Science and Technology today welcomed two members of the Publication Committee for a scholarly visit aimed at enriching the university library with the latest high-quality studies on contemporary national issues. The university witnessed the handover ceremony of a printed copy of a study entitled "The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration," presented by:
* Professor Al-Azzi Al-Salawi: Member of the Publication Committee and Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs.
* Dr. Amr Ma'dikarib Al-Hamdani: Member of the Publication Committee and Member of the Shura Council.
They were received by Professor Khalid Ali Al-Dhahbani, Director of the University Libraries, who accepted the study on behalf of the university, praising this initiative which enhances the scientific content of the central library.
The study "The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration" is considered an important strategic reference, as it delves deeply into and analyzes the dimensions of Yemeni emigration and its economic, social, and cultural impacts, both within Yemen and in host countries.
This initiative aims to provide researchers and students at the University of Science and Technology with a solid academic resource that will help them understand the challenges and opportunities of Yemeni migration.
For his part, Professor Khaled Al-Dhahbani emphasized that the library administration is giving special attention to the study due to its realistic and practical nature. He explained that the study will be available to all researchers in the fields of political, economic, and social migration.
