Journalist and writer Ahmed Al-Annabi receives a copy of the study on the reciprocal effects of Yemeni migration.

The Al-Khair Foundation for Development continued its program to promote the study "The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration," presenting a copy to Mr. Ahmed Al-Anabi, journalist, writer, and one of the founders and leaders of the Yemeni News Agency "Saba."

The copy was presented by Ms. Salwa Muharram, representing the Al-Khair Foundation for Development, with the participation of Dr. Amr Ma'dikarib Al-Hamdani, a member of the Shura Council, and Mr. Al-Azzi Al-Salawi, advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

Those behind the initiative emphasized that the media plays a crucial role in documenting national memory and highlighting Yemeni experiences, and that studying Yemeni migration requires drawing upon the testimonies and expertise of journalists who have witnessed various stages of Yemen's history and transformations.

They noted that Mr. Ahmed Al-Anabi is a prominent figure in the history of modern Yemeni media, given his contributions to the founding and leadership of the Yemeni News Agency "Saba," and his extensive experience in journalism, writing, and media documentation.

During the meeting, the importance of the study was discussed, including its examination of the reciprocal effects of Yemeni migration and the interaction between Yemenis and their host communities, encompassing social, cultural, economic, and media aspects. Participants emphasized that the press and media have always been among the most important means of conveying the news and experiences of Yemenis abroad back home, and have contributed to shaping the image of the Yemeni migrant and their presence in the public consciousness.

For his part, Professor Ahmed Al-Anabi expressed his appreciation for the gift of the study, praising the effort invested in gathering its material and documenting its subject matter. He stressed the importance of documenting the history of Yemeni migration as an integral part of modern Yemeni history and its social and cultural heritage.

The gift of the study to Professor Ahmed Al-Anabi is part of a series of meetings aimed at distributing the encyclopedia to prominent media, cultural, and academic figures, and enhancing its presence in the fields of research, documentation, and public discourse.
