The prominent journalist and media figure, Professor Yahya Al-Arasi, receives a copy of the study on the reciprocal effects of Yemeni migration.

As part of the Al-Khair Foundation for Development's efforts to promote and disseminate its study, "The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration," to prominent national, academic, media, and cultural figures, a copy of the study was presented to the esteemed journalist and media figure, Professor Yahya Al-Arasi, a leading figure in Yemeni journalism and media with a career spanning nearly five decades.

The copy was presented by Ms. Salwa Muharram, representing the Al-Khair Foundation for Development; Dr. Amr Ma'dikarib Al-Hamdani, a member of the Shura Council; and Mr. Al-Azzi Al-Salawi, an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, as part of a program to engage with individuals who have contributed to shaping media and cultural awareness in Yemen.

During the meeting, the importance of the study was highlighted as a documentary and informative project examining Yemeni migration and its reciprocal effects, including its social, cultural, economic, and civilizational impacts, as well as the contributions of Yemenis in their host communities and their ongoing ties to their homeland.

The organizers of the initiative emphasized that Professor Yahya Al-Arasi was chosen in recognition of his long and distinguished media career, spanning decades and witnessing significant stages and transformations in the history of Yemeni media. Throughout his career, he worked with and served under five different presidents, granting him extensive experience in documenting national events and transformations. Attendees praised the importance of utilizing Professor Al-Arasi's media expertise and professional experience to enrich documentation projects related to contemporary Yemeni history.

They stressed that studies addressing Yemeni migration require the integration of academic sources with the accumulated testimonies and experiences of media and cultural figures. For his part, Professor Yahya Al-Arasi expressed his appreciation for the initiative and commended the effort invested in preparing the study. He emphasized the importance of documenting the history of Yemeni migration and the contributions of Yemenis in various countries around the world, thus preserving this crucial aspect of national memory for future generations.

This meeting is part of a series of events organized by the Al-Khair Foundation for Development to promote the study and disseminate it among Yemeni elites, thereby strengthening its presence in the academic, cultural, and media landscape.
