Professor Nasser Al-Absi, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Front, received a copy of the study "The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration" as part of a program to promote the study and introduce its findings to prominent national, intellectual, and cultural figures.

The copy was presented by Professor Salwa Muharram, representing the Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development; Professor Al-Azzi Al-Salawi, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates; and Dr. Amr Ma'dikarib Al-Hamdani, a member of the Shura Council, both members of the study's launch committee.

During the meeting, the launch team discussed the national dimensions of the study and its insights into the experiences of Yemenis in the diaspora. This analysis extends beyond population movement and the search for employment opportunities, encompassing the contributions of migrants to the economic, social, intellectual, cultural, and political spheres, as well as their ongoing ties to their homeland.

The team also presented an overview of the project's development phases, the efforts of the researchers and participants, and the role played by the late Professor Alwan Al-Shaibani in sponsoring and supporting the project through the Al-Khair Foundation for Development, the community arm of the Al-Alamiah Trading Group.

The publishing team emphasized that the late Alwan Al-Shaibani's interest in the study stemmed from his conviction that Yemeni migration represents a vital component of national memory, and that documenting the experiences and contributions of migrants preserves a part of Yemen's political, social, economic, and cultural history.

For his part, Professor Nasser Al-Absi expressed his gratitude for receiving a copy of the study, commending the efforts made in its completion and the valuable material it provides to researchers and those interested in Yemen's history and its national and social movements. He also praised the late Alwan Al-Shaibani's national, economic, cultural, and social stances and contributions, and his commitment to supporting scientific and developmental projects that serve society and preserve Yemeni memory.

The meeting underscored the importance of encouraging research initiatives that re-examine Yemeni social and political history and document the roles of Yemenis both within the country and abroad as an integral part of the national experience.
